Will have to lookit up for you. The dealer should still be able to get them at a price... I have boxes of the front and rear clips though. _________________ Robert Adams

Hi ~ I also have a '78 Cabalero and just now re'doing the whole interior. Someone was looking for a Canadian GM part number for the clips that hold the headliner in place?
The part Number is 2006-1050. Be prepared. They quoted me $8.75 each, but when I picked them up they were only $7.00 each. (Pretty steep for little pieces of plastic.) But, gotta have them, yes?
You will be happy to know also that the last time I heard there were only 12 Cabaleros registered in Canada.

Only 12?? well glad I've got one! Hey Shirley where do you hail from and did you get that part from a dealership? _________________ Proud Diablo and not that Lamborghini kind
Hi ~ I love my 'little truck' and I would not trade it for anything else (unless it was for a Mercedes 380 SL convertable) He! He! Just kidding!
I got the clips from my local GM dealer. I live in Penticton B.C. and they had to order them in from Edmonton Alberta.
This dealer was so good to me. I had been asking him "How easy or hard was it to take out my dash" and he hauled out an old service manual that included a diagram of the dash. Then I asked if it was possible to "borrow" the manual to photocopy the diagram. And he said "If you would like to donate $20 to the cause I will let you have the whole manual." That was like giving me a pot of gold. LOL

Well you let me know if you're every through Calgary Nice work on the manual too! sounds like a good bunch of folks there. Do you have a photo album set up yet? If not - start one, I'd love to see your ride.
I'll have to find my page, I think it's 39 or around there in the 5th gen pages. _________________ Proud Diablo and not that Lamborghini kind
Hi again ~ I guess I should take some before and after photos. When I do I will post them for sure. You reside a little closer to here than I originally thought.
Check out my story ~ "Hey to all you bodywork guys Please help" page 2 - it will give you a little history of how I got to here. My Caballero was also the Diablo and I loved the trim package. This doing the interior is such a learning curve but loving every minute of it although frustrating at times. But I am determined to do it all myself. Lots of time and not much money. At the end of the day I say to myself "Self, why are you doing this?" LOL
Luv ya ~ Shirley ~
