My headers wont bolt up for hitting the oil press sending unit...i went and got a shorter one and its still in the way

someone told me there is a square head bolt on back of the intake in front of the distributor i can remove and put the sending unit there

is this true>?

Yes, you can move it. Although there may already be a sending unit there for the choke light. You could "T" of this but its kind of bulky. You can also get some 90* adaptors and move the stock location to clear the headers.

Remove the plug just above your timing cover, add the fitting connect your gauge, at this point you will have the pressure that has been sent through the entire engine, this is the end of the line, and really the best place to sample oil pressure
