Rolling the fender lips for tire clearance

(did it this way to make a search easier)



You might look and see if rolling the inner lips of the rear fenderwells will give you enough clearance. I believe it will.

(rolling the fenderwell lips means to flatten them back up against the quarterpanel sheetmetal above the lips. If done correctly, it's unnoticable and leaves no obvious trace that it has been done. See the link below. a baseball bat also works well)

actually having never seen my truck ,,that is a gross assumption,,the name Lumpy came from the big ol lumpy comp cam,,not the dents in the body,,,it is very good shape for its age,,,minimal rust,,mainly by the quarter window,,floors are solid as well,,soon to be completely gutted,,and on a diet,,provided it doesnt sell soon,,,and if yesterday is any indication,,i will have time for the work planned.
