My rotors are stock and the 14's fit fine. I think all 5th gen Elkys came stock with 14" wheels but not totally sure.

If I am not mistaken I think he has the Dakota Digital Dash (DDD). Something I've been reading up on and thinking seriously about instead of recalibrating my gauges. As they are all off the scale. From what I have read you have the availability to change the speedo to match the output of the tranny. Meaning with a little bit of that stuff we all hated in skool it's possible to easily recalibrate the speedo for accurate response.

Robert could you answer how this dash works? It's something I've been meaning to ask you anyway.

Best investment I bought for my truck. I set my speedo the other day by myself . I just drove to a school that was on a main road and they have those speed meters so i waited till the cost was clear and I was the only one passing it and it flashed the speed all you need to do is look at your speed I was off 13 MPH. So I know I need to add 13mph so just go to a street where nobody is on select adjust start driving at a steady speed even 10mph and push the button till you hit 23mph stop turn off the truck it's re-setted go back to the school zone and check . Mine was perfect. Took 5 min by myself. You can do it with another car next to you just have them hit a certin speed then adjust yours to theirs. This thing will clock the 1/4 mile and tell you everything your engine did . You probably can download it's performance on the computer.

As long as you know how far off you are you can change it in a safe place not in traffic. This ap[plies with all the gauges on my dash American or European Km's

MODEL #VFD3-81C-MC $695.00 WHEN I BOUGHT MINE AND COMES WITH ALL THE STANDARD SENSORS.AND PLUGS INTO THE TRUCKS WIRE HARNESS. SIX YEARS WITHOUT A GLICH !!!!!!

I have learned to never characterize any of my cars as fixed....they are just temporarily between malfunctions. .....Dan ( old_coot)

My rotors are single piston so look for my pic's this weekend with the new rims on my truck. I want to see it with 14's on the front and 15's on the rear it should look slick with the front down a bit without any suspension problems.

I bought one of the Dewitt electric impact wrench's and it's a breeze swapping tires. It's easier to take off the tire put it on the bench and polish the rims.

Very interesting. Now I will pull a front wheel and measure it out. I was under the mistaken impression that all gm rotors required 15's.
