A conversation with NMCA

Last night I got a call from Dave from the National Muscle Car Association . He called to talk about their upcoming season opening show in Bradenton in March , 2013 . He wanted to welcome us back again and discuss giving us preferential parking , announcing NECOA over their PA system and other perks . Unfortunately , I had to break the news that we were not going to be able to attend . Each year we attend both NMCA in Bradenton and Super Chevy in Palm Beach , Fl. , love them and they both treat us great . Super Chevy announced their schedule a while before the NMCA dates were announced , so we have already planned to attend S C and celebrate the 10 th anniversary of NECOA and El Camino Central joining forces . Many of us were disappointed to later read that both are on the same date . National Director Ken Rogers joined us year before last at NMCA and is planning to celebrate with us at Super Chevy in March ! I wish that they would not schedule so many events around the state at the same times but realize they have their reasons for doing it . Thoughts or comments welcomed .

i can't understand why they don't all get together somehow. NMCA, Super Chevy and Billetproof @ Big Daddy's - all on the same weekend. 3 big shows that surely pull from each other rather than add to each other

I met up with the group that was at SC and talked with a fine bunch of guys.
My cars still in build mode but will be up to see ya again.

They had the news before they put their date out that SCS was that same weekend and the girl that answered the early email I sent to acquire the date for the show was told by me and also 2 weeks later that we were attending another show as I put it to them. I posted this back a few months ago and now they call, one hand does not know what the other is doing. I AGREE WITH ED BIG TIME split up those weekends so the big events do not fall on same day as each other. Better for them and way better for us.
