Default Gauge suggestions

I'm taking suggestions for gauges, other than the volts, oil pressure, and water temp.

Tach is nice to have and if you have a hotter cam a vac gauge is nice. Check out speedhut gauges, i am using them in both of my show trucks.

The excuse gauge is on back order due to calibration difficulties.I like a vacuum gauge, put them in all my "special interest" vehicles.Real good check of overall engine efficiency and health. The AFR gauge is fun to watch.Together, once you know how to read them, they'll help you spot trends and issues before they become PROBLEMS (ouch).

In the air cooled VW I installed 2 cylinder head temp gauges,1 per bank,to the right of the speedo. Also an oil temp gauge, left of speedo at bottom.I also put warning lamps for brake fail/handbrake on,low oil pressure and low voltage.Overkill for a liquid cooled vehicle but I'll probably end up putting them in the EC anyway.I'm a systems monitor type.
