I am a member on another Chevy forum with a lot more members.
Some really good people there and good advice also. When I got my Elky I found the El Camino section severly lacking so searched the web and found this place. I still pop in now and then on the 'other' site but have let my supporting member status lapse in favor of ECC and the NECOA. Sometimes when I am on the other site I will see someone posting a question about Elkies with almost no responses. I send them a PM with a link to this place.

tree huggers don't realize that our 70s elkies came with big blocks and think they are more environmentally friendly than a full size truck

1. Where El Camino owners can feel at home.
2. Help....just ask and its there. 3. Knowledge...yeah...we have been there and done that. 4. History...all generations of El Camino's have a story and someone here knows it. 5. Serious car owners who want to show theirs and help with yours. 6. Who you are matters...a Chevy owner....so are we. 7. Want to meet up...that can be arranged. 8. Parts...just ask and you will find it. 9. You love your El Camino and so do we. 10. Watch...we will only get better!!! Thanks, Mark |

NECOA- After ten years is still helping those that never could make up their minds if they prefer to own a car or a truck
NECOA- After ten years is still the best site for those that only wanted to own half a Chevelle NECOA- After ten years is still a site dedicated to all of us that prefer to own and drive a “poor man’s Corvette” rather than Corvette

It's all about making new friends you can identify with, preserving American cars and American values. Baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet El Camino's!

If you own(ed) one, you get it.
El Cominos are an instant eye catcher. The web police stop abusive posting. |

A place to find Choo Choo's with steering wheels that don't run on coal or need rails to roll.

Daily Driving my Diablo can entail massive support from a knowledgable data base.
Your car probably has a smaller carbon footprint than a new small car due to manufacturing energy being amortized. In effect you are recycling a car when they "wastefully" buy a new one. Last edited by mugzilla; 01-26-2013 at 02:15 PM. |
