I know this won't help, i checked park tool (bicycle tools) and their torque wrench only goes down to 26 inch lbs. These are used to torque aluminum bolts on carbon fiber parts.

There's a small independent repair shop (4 bays) about a mile from me. They know I do most of my own work, and what I can't, I take to them (alignments, tire mount/bal, etc). One of the mechanics there has let me borrow specialty tools overnight sometimes, and the owner let me borrow their spring compressor over the weekend once so I could reassemble my front suspension, after they spent all day removing/replacing my control arm bushings and lower ball joints. (I took them all pizza for lunch a few days later)
This may be an option for you.

The one I purchased from Park Tool (TW-1) is good for 0-60in/lbs. Preload is one of the many important steps, most people don't respect rental tools from my experience. I'd consider buying one along with the indicator. I know it cost's money but doing it yourself can be rewarding. I'd rather have the tools to keep rather then pay someone to do the job.

I was looking at tw-5 which is a click style. The beam style like tw-1 may be the only kind to go single digit in/lbs

Most of the manuals I read suggested using dial or beam type wrench. A digital may work too...I am unfamiliar with the hi-tech ones. The Park brand one is nice for the price.

I'd be concerned about the calibration on a rented torque wrench. If it's way outta spec you could have issues further down the road.....literally.I've seen some in pawn shops, with case and certification papers,at a "negotiable" price.Might be worth calling around if you have some nearby.

The best type of inch lbs torque wrench for setting bearing preload has a dial indicator not a clicker.

I got mine from Sears (the click type). It is a little tricky to use but it was the best cheap one I could find. Snapon would be ideal, but they are a couple hundred bucks.
