Just this style not his setup. Pep Boys has these rim's at the store by me on clearance 15x7 $69.00 ea The brand is Proline MA1097 but I can't fine Proline wheels online. Anybody know if this brand is junk? The ones below aren't proline but look the exact same style and finish.:dontknow::dontknow:

Exactly but who is proline I can't find the online anywhere not even e-bay. I like the price $68.00 set of new rim's for under $300.00 ? if I knew they were good I would pick them up. They look good when I went to the store but when I go to balance them I don't want 10lbs of lead stuck to the inside.:dontknow:

I'm going to keep them two of them the chrome is fading and it's time for 18 inch tires. It will be cheaper to buy all new 15in rims & tires than 2 18in rims and 4 tires

DON'T DO IT!!!!! Keep the irocs.a elco without irocs is like, peanut butter and no jam!,koolaid no sugar! Come on now,you being from the el camino mecca(los angeles:nanawrench:)id think you'd know better:???:

If he likes the centerline look, then let him put those on... better than putting gay a** 20" rims under an elky... Centerlines give elky's that nice muscle car look...:poke:

As far as the brand, they are a centerline style, just a no name brand.. So all in all same but different..lol

Just knock the the GN owner in the noggin and take his wheels! Next problem? Glad to be of service..

"ProLine" is Pepboys house brand. Don't know who makes them but probably an import. Then again what isn"t? They sell proline oil, filters, etc. Kind of like Summit branded stuff. You know they don't "make" them.

Went back today my mistake I have been looking at so many rims I can't keep track. Here's the ones they have for $69.00 the one I posted earlier where American racing bummer I'm taking my camera or just get 16 inch Iroc's from e-bay. I don't have eye to imgine what they would look like on my truck and their program to see how they would look on another car is like pulling teeth unless you know what every type of cars wheel size is and trying to find their discontinued models ha. You can't put in view all. I almost bought them because if I didn't like them I could put them with the Irocs and start a showroom and not be to bad in the hole. Also didn't ask but I bEt the center caps are extra there not on the wall on the rims. Always a catch if your not looking plus chrome valve stems. lug nuts. I know it's my decision but what do you think about these.

thank's for all the input I'm still looking so don't go away pic's would help. I would like to get some before the OPGI show April 1.

NOT A BAD THREAD LOTS OF INPUT NOW LETS GET PEOPLE IN THEIR REGION OUTSIDE TOGETHER AND SPREAD THE ECC WE ALL LOVE.:fluffy::fluffy:

Check this out on PepBoys site I just found these American racing below $128.00 ea. The one's above said proline at $79.00 $69.00 at the store. LOOK AT THE CENTER CAPS WHATS UP? WHAT WAS ON THE WALL AT THE STORE I SAW?

So either they're made by American Racing or someone made a mistake. Mistakes are nice. Sometimes you can get them before they realize it.
Other possibility is the "seconds" or "blems" are sold as "Proline"

Could be the ones at pep boys didn't have center caps on display.

Wow, 18 and 20 inch rims? I've got American five spokes in 17" on my '83 and it seems really big to me. I am thinking of going down to a 15" set up for driving around and just putting the biggies on for cruise nights and such. I know that when I'm rolling on the 17's the ride isn't as nice to me. I think that you should get rims you like and I'm sure that the guys are right, the Prolines are probably store-brand knock offs.

I'd go for the IROCs and have the insets painted to match your body color. If ride is the main reason for wanting the 15", I've got the 16" IROCs on mine and even with a full Hotchkis TVS, the ride is a good blend of performance and ride. Although your tire choice will dramatically influence that of course.

There's a set out in Perris for $250:

and if you want to stick with the chrome $600 with tires out in Duarte:

If you really want a 15", there's a 82–87 Z28 wheel that i've seen on a number of El Caminos that look really sharp. It's style H1276 on this page, again, i'd paint the insets to match or contrast with your body color:

the 86–88 Monte SS 15" look good too:
