I need to add a couple tie downs for motorcycle hauling in my '67. I'd like a couple strong ones up front & a couple in the back. Anybody have good ideas about that?
Here is what I used in my '84. I bought them at a Camper supply store. They are chrome and the T-bar flips out. When not in use I put a small put roll section of duct tape behind the bar so it won't rattle. 84
Hahahah when I first saw that photo I thought you were saying to use the gas filler cover as the tie down. Awesome modification btw moving it inboard on the bed. I use a hoop type tie down that I found at Home Depot. I like mine because you can hook a bungi cord to them or you can weave ropes around. They are so tight to the body and with my liner behind it they don't rattle they're a nice snug fit.
I bought some like 84withzz4 has, for my Chevy pickup, some years ago. Got those from J C Whitney !! They are black, but look the same....and work good.
I have the originals on my Elco project.
