:dontknow:need help removing turn signal switch from steering column in my 1985 conquista. i have the column apart but having issues with the feeding the t/s switch up through the column.
Use a stiff wire to get down the side of the column. Use it to pull a string through. Tie the string to the connector and pull it through. Patience is a virtue
Thanks. Dont let the list fool you. I am a sucker for old rusty junk. A couple of those are projects i am in the middle of. I keep getting distracted. Short attention span and all.
Matthew, if you take the column bracket off (2 bolts holding column up and 4 bolts holding bracket) and remove the black plastic wire cover, fold the wires where the connector is in line with the wires it usually comes out without too much difficulty.
