Default Where to mount 6x9s

I'm installing a cheap set of 6x9s in my 87. Has anyone mounted them directly in the rear curtain?

That looks cool Robert. I put the same dash speakers in mine. 6x9s I've got came with pioneer supertuner CD player. I'm just not sure about mounting them that way as I put tools and shtuff behind the seat. I thought about cutting holes in the curtain and mounting them there. High enough where they wouldn't be muffled by stuff covering them.

Man I haven't had a supertuner sense high school that was in 1979 with a 10 band equalizer and 100 watt amp.

6x9's rear of seat on the floor facing forward. can put things on top with out affecting sound. 3" dash speakers still good and the 4 together sound good.
