Default engine boring

anyone know where there might be a chart showing what cubic inch your engine would be after boring it?

more than the bore size accounts for cubic inch displacement. You also have to factor in the stroke of the engine as well.

The formula is:

(Bore / 2) * (Bore / 2) * Stroke * 3.141592654 (a.k.a. Pi) * Cylinders

Snaggle Tooth is correct. Your bore will be 4.030 from the 350 at .030 over. Stroke is 3.750 from a 400 crank.

in order for it to be a 383 wouldn't it have to be bored 60 over?

A .030 overbore with a 400 crank with a stroke of 3.75 would give you 382.667 cubes. Close enough for me!
