Default My '83 Resurected

Okay, so to make a long story short... I bought my 79 first and found it had more than a few problems so I then found a nearly complete 83 in the local yard for $500. Well I bought the 83 and just finnished transplanting the 79's 350/350 combo in exchange for the 305 ecm monster that was in it. Come to find out the 83 has the SS package and I turned the key last weekend and it fired right up after the swap. Well, my dad and I drove it yesterday for the first time since it went to the yard to become "scrap". Seems to be still very driveable, I did a lot of cleaning and refurbishing, and now I can start working on minor problems and getting the interior in shape. I will get some photos on the member's area soon as I can and I will post more once I have it liscenced and am actually driving it. Just a quick thanks to all that have helped with questions and also in advance for any more I may ask. I am an Iraq war vetran and returned last November looking for something to do. This seems to be the thing and I'm having a blast. I belong to some pretty awsome associations but this is one of the best by far. Cheers to all here within.
