Default Bucket seats.

I've decided to switch to buckets for my elky, mainly cause i think it looks cooler. Anyway, my question to y'all is if its possible to put buckets from an earlier generation elky into a 5th gen? And what all would be involved in doing so. Right now I'm looking at getting a fairly nice set of 77 buckets from the local junkyard...I think they look much better than the buckets of the montes and such of the 80's. Thanks for the help guys!

When your at the salvage yard look for another G-body that has buckets or a split bench seat. Take out the seats if they are still there, there are an inner set of brackets (against the tranny tunnel) that will make the install easier for a conversion to buckets. Have a hammer and a good chisel ready. We put the seats in with the bracket bolted to them and then tacked the brackets in place, pulled the seats and welded them the rest of the way.
