A lot of Bruce Springsteen songs remind me of muscle cars. Thunder Road tends to remind me of 3rd gen Camaros for some reason, That's been true since before I knew what a Camaro was...

This is the best driving song there is, no matter what you're driving, IMHO. Best way to hear it is at night, preferably out away from towns/cities. Say, maybe, going across N. Dakota/Wyoming about 2am. Turn it up and let'er eat!!

but that's what happens when you put 6-700 HP in a 1200 lb car!! LOL Last edited by Keyser Sose; 05-17-2011 at 03:46 PM. |

Nice video, Keyser.
I've been wrenching on a Sprint Car for the last 25 years and seeing those cars airborne is still scary. I know what it's like to have to glue one of those back together just to get it on the trailer to go home. BTW, your horsepower estimate is a bit light. Our current motor dyno'ed just shy of 850 hp and is now 5 years old. Newer stuff is pushing 900, which in a 1250# car is absolutely awesome. Bill |

Very cool billyjack!! My favorite racing quote of all time is by Steve Kinser (practically owned World of Outlaws circuit for years). When asked what it was like to roll a car end-over-end 13 times his answer was.........."dirt, sky, dirt, sky, dirt, sky..."
One of the drag boat racers said (after a top end crash), "Water's not a liquid when you hit it doing 200MPH!"
