UPDATE: New Directors Appointed

Status on California Directors search:

We have some good progress to report on finding new Deputy Directors in the California area. The following members have accepted appointments:

Steve Roberts - SoCal Elky - Deputy Director in San Diego metro with 189 posts, member since 1/16/2008

Juan Carlos Jimenez - Dabayelky - Deputy Director in SF Bay Area, with 872 posts, member since 2/27/2008

These new Deputies will work closely with Danny Hernandez and Mike Darby, who will remain as Regional Directors for their respective parts of California. After we see what develops in the next year, perhaps we can change the split region alignment there to something more practical. We are still looking for someone way-up-north in CA and someone in the Fresno area, who can be added later.

These two Deputy Directors will help us a lot in developing our organization on the West Coast and spark more activity. Please support them as they try to schedule meet-and-greet gatherings and attending established cruise nights.


New Deputy Directors in Six Other Regions:

We are pleased to also announce the following appointments in several other states:

Region 1: Keith Lynch - Fortyselcam - Deputy Director for upstate New York with 179 posts and member since December 2008.

Region 4: Chris Chamberlain - phatchris - Deputy Director for Baltimore, Maryland area with 100 posts and member since July 2003.

Region 7: James Row - Canted - Deputy Director for northern Georgia, with 1456 posts and member since February 2006.

Region 9: Rob Graboske - rgraboske - Deputy Director for Michigan, with 67 posts and member since December 2004.

Region 15: D.R. Yager - 67ELK - Deputy Director for Arizona, with 347 posts and member since July 2010.

Region 16: Ash Holcomb - El Diablo - Deputy Director for Colorado, with 417 posts and member since August 2008.

These six additional Deputy Directors will help us reach into areas where NECOA had no strong presence before and we expect great results from their taking these leadership positions. Please give them your enthusiastic support!
