Default Sold my 16" IROC wheels, ready to order 18"

Unless you're buying 15" wheels, you can't beat the price on 18" chrome IROCs off EBAy, so I will be ordering 18" IROCs as soon as my funds clear in paypal. Tires have gone through the roof over the past couple years, however. I'm ordering (2) 255/45ZR18s for the rear. They're 27" tall, and 255/40ZR18s for the front, which are 26" tall. The tires alone, the least expensive offered, are $675 to my door.

You really can fit 255's in the front without clearance problems? I had 235's in the front, although I have 15 inch rims, and on a sharp turn my tire barely rubbed.

Mike:
If you use an 82-92 Camaro or Trans Am steering box for 16" wheels it has different stops for wider tires.

That's good to know, thanks! I'm changing my steering box soon it's got some play and I can't adjust it out.
