I saw the pic's of your truck and i know all the work you put into it with your experience that it's top shape and documented with all the paperwork in tact. I thought i heard you may be selling it. If so I'm sure i know a few people who would to see your pic's if you could post them again. It's not going to last once the word is out. I know you haven't been in good health and my prayers are with you.
Robert.

Just bought a carb. from Mountain Man on Friday and it's shipping Monday for the weekend. I delt with Ted on e-mail and he's great. Needed to call to give my credit card and got his wife she already knew everything going down just by me saying hi I'm Robert. VERY NICE WOMAN. Ted e-mailed me Friday afternoon asking if i got the quote for the air frt. I just saw the e-mail and i responded your wife has already spent the money better stay home. Not more than ten min. after i sent the e-mail tonight i got a response with my ups tracking number. Now that's class and i asked her to send me their business cards and i would put them on my parts counter.

I have learned to never characterize any of my cars as fixed....they are just temporarily between malfunctions. .....Dan ( old_coot)

Don't need to spend alot of money to get a really good sounding system. Back in the day i could take a crappy receiver and make it sound good for $50.00
all i needed was an ten band equalizer and a hundred watt amp. at the swap meet and four speakers. Always had speakers laying around from swaps.

Robert, I just had a flashback to 1964 when I spent a few bucks and a few hours installing a reverberator in my 63 Impala convertible. A rolling echo chamber. At the time it was so cool. Today some of these knuckleheads have so much power and bass vibrations they should have blood running out of their ears. We were at a light in my cruck when this kid pulled up in a tuner POS wagon. My entire car was just vibrating. I couldn't even tell if my car was running, and it's fairly loud. Guys like him will be wearing hearing aids by the time they hit 30. I like a good sound system, but some of these people are off the charts.

I'm with you on that one Lockjaw. I like my tunes but I don't want to entertain the whole neighborhood.

When i had my truck done i told them i wanted i nice sounding system 300 watt and subwoffer. My sub. is 8 inch. My truck shakes if turn it way up. I swore i could feel my brain vibrating and the back window i couldn't tell what was behind me. And I'm not kidding.Nobody needs even what i have not even me. Now some of these guys have 2-two ten inch subs. and want more!!!!! How can you handle that. I have been to alot of concerts where you can't hear when it's over but theres no way you could do that without loosing your hearing really quick.

But for the way back high school years we hooked up anything we could get our hands on. None of us white boys where i lived ever thought of a subwoffer and it wouldn't work with Van Halen/Rush OR Yes in the round!!!!!! Emerson Lake & Palmer/Jethro Tull/ Black Sabbath and don't forget Alice Cooper Welcome to my nightmare. Got lost there and I want to go back I promise I'll never say i can't wait till i turn 18 again.

They also must be running at least two batteries to pull those amps. or somebody following with jumper cables
