I am in need of a vacuum diagram for 1978 305. Any help would be appreciated.

Autozone's web site has vacuum diagrams of 5th generation Elkies, but I am not sure about your model. Search their site at www.autozone.com. I think this site has some of the diagrams posted. You might use the search feature to take a look.

spoonplugger, I checked out the autozone site and it has the diagrams, 3 different ones for 78 305 with California smog. I appreciate the tip

TD, you will need to take a careful look at your current setup and compare it to the diagrams. One of them should match your setup. It took me a while to figure out exactly which one was right for my vehicle, but it was worth the effort.
