Default 1967 El Camino needs new home

I have a 1967 El Camino for sale. I purchased this with the intention of restoration over a period of time, it has very little rust and I looked at a lot of them before purchasing this one. Front and rear window leak, so I removed the carpet today, there is rust scale, but no holes. Will get more pics later. It came from Cali, still had the Cali plate and title. It now has a clear Texas title. It originally came with a 327 with a power glide, but the 327 was replaced with a 283. The engine runs well, and the trans shifts as it should. I have run several trips to San Antonio (200 mile round trip)with no problems. The Elco was originally white with a blue interior, and appears to have been painted twice. I am asking $7000 on Craigslist, but I will take $6500 from an ECC member. Call Ralph for more details and pics 830-279-5959 or E-mail to hotrodelco1981@gmail.com

Having seen this car up close, I will tell you Ralph is accurately advertising it.

But---be sure to ask if the re-chromed rear bumper comes with it.

Having hauled this Baby back and forth to (not so) Super Chevy (rained the whole time)
I can truly say this is a solid car.
This thing just screams for a Big Block and a th350.
It also has all the hard to find Cali smog stuff for 67. for all you restoration guys.

Yea the bumper comes with it, and the reverse lights.
I adjusted the neutral safety switch today, and it starts great.
Took her to the gas station, got some fuel and went for a little drive. A Mountain man carb would fix the hesitation. Its got a Holley Economaster on it now.

This car could be a show car, but I'm not that guy. Engine and trans could be bought separated. I don't have the stock air cleaner. Then I'll put a big block in it.

Well, I'm going to drive the '67 to Biff's tonight. If anyone wants to look at it up close and personal.

Well if it doesn't sell its going to get a big block and a paint job. Then go on the Power Cruise. Sounds good anyway

I'd love to have it, but my problem is like yours apparently...too many cars already.

Say, you would want another 5th gen, would you???

Noticed a guy looking specifically for a 67 on Team Chevelle.
I'll have to try to find his post again and send him a link.
