I bought an '86 El Camino a couple months ago. I've been reading the threads to learn more about my truck. I have been holding off posting as I realized a lot of my questions have already been asked and answered by searching, finding and reading, I have tried to post but get a message not permitted to post because I have less than required number of posts??? I need help with that one. I live in Gulfport, Mississippi, home of the annual Cruisin' the Coast. Sorry, no pictures yet, I know everyone likes pictures and I will get to that. My truck has new maroon paint with silver on the lowest part. PO added a complete new interior, spray liner and put in a 10k miles '93 or '94 (haven't found out for sure) Z28 Camaro motor and transmission. Runs well, but there seems to be a few loose ends of the transplant I would like straighten out. It also has some intermittent gauge issues I think might be related to grounding or connections. I hope to post without being redundant, learn more about this old truck,and friend (not Facebook style) y'all.
