Question Grundy insurance

Has anyone used Grundy Ins. co.??? I recently saw where they (grundy) has started to insure daily drivers, and they will do it on a agreed value. So ..anyone have any comments on this company??

Hagerty wouldn,t insure mine because they were afraid I might haul something.

Have been with JC Taylor for 11 years- agreed value and great rates - no problems - good customer service and I've always been able to talk to a live USA person if I had a question..
Never made a claim so I don't know about that. ( hope I never do )

I have had Grundy for about 5 years. No problem talking to someone. Agreed value of 20k - annual premium about 180 bucks. They don't limit mileage but they do require it be garaged. Also want pictures usually.

don't quote me , but I was told one of them is just a broker to larger companies.
I'm with State Farm, the Elky , a 32 ford p.u. and 4o ford sedan. All are driven app 3000-5000 miles yearly and never had a problem with the agent on price, agreed value or service .

Hey can you park it in the garage, take a pic and then give it to them? I occasionally park in the garage but park in the driveway more.

I've seen the Grundy ads... and it sounded interesting as I have been considering getting a classic as my daily driver.

As far as State Farm - their classic insurance (I have it on my EC) is stated value - not agreed value. The value you set is the maximum they will pay out in the event of a loss, but not a guarantee that you'll get it. Big difference between the two.

I have had Grundy also on 4 different cars and they have always been super to deal with, and very reasonable. I'll stick with them till they prove otherwise. They do require the cars to be housed in a lockable structure, which at the premium rates I think is certainly understandable. WP

I have Grundy on my T and my El Camino. Agreed value of something like $14,000 on the T and $5000 (maybe $7000) on the El Camino. The T is about $250 per year, and the El Camino is only about $50 per year. Full coverage, no deductible. But limited usage, of course. And there are other restrictions.
