I think there is a basic flaw in this contest that makes it slightly unfair..and this is not a complaint, just an observation. The flaw is that pitting high end custom cars against beautiful 99% stock vehicles draws votes from two different constituencies of interest. Car buffs generally appreciate fine customs more enthusiastically. Both Elkos are extra fine and would compete so much stronger if competing against other fine "stock" examples of their period. It's no reflection on the cars, just on voter demographics.
This makes sense to me. Am I nuts?

I agree. At this point in time with my new paint and motor mine is far from stock. Even the suspension and trans and diff aren't stock anymore. The only thing stock is the interior, but it's
all new and beautiful now. The other elky is all stock and very rare. Two different types of cars completely.
