Default A quick introduction and question.

Alright well as of right now I am 15 years old and live in virginia. I have a bit of a problem. I have a 1972 Chevelle SS but I can Trade it for a 1984 El Camino SS Choo-Choo custom that has 36000 miles and a late model (believe to be a 96)Camero motor (bored out 350 small block. Can someone anyone help me on my decision. I love both car and dont know which one to take.

I have to agree with Mike. Is it a BB Chevelle with matching numbers? If so, well personally I'd have to keep the Chevelle.

The chevelle has a 350 in it and is in decent shape. Needs new quarters (which i have), needs paint bad, needs new interior. and well needs a miracle to be ready by april (when i get my license). The Camino on the other hand in in flawless condition body wise. Needs new carpet. And new window rubber seals. It is silver w/ burgandy interior. I'm gonna paint it back silver but put burgandy ss stripes on it. Lower it 3 inches and put and bed cover on it. And i'm gonna put a gaylord's california cruiser cover on it with that turns the bed into a shag pad.

Wow tough decision now...a 1972 SS 350 Chevelle that needs work or a 1984 Choo Choo with 36K miles in nice shape? Flip a coin just for fun and let us know the outcome!

Is that 36k original miles? Sounds like a fine ride Brad, and that you might already have your mind made up. Good luck.

Well this sucks. The guy who I was going to trade with wont trade and my dad wont let me sell my chevelle. Even though I had a friends dad offer me $4000 for my chevelle and El Camino is only $2200. On the chevelle i found bondo that is about a half-in to an inch I think. And I had my heart set on the shag wagon.

Keep the Chevelle, in a few years you will be sorry you sold it.
The Chevelle price is only going to go up and up and harder to get. Put the Chevelle away and ask good old Dad to help buy the shag mobile . I would like a 72 Chevelle to go with my 72 El Camino.

Joe..
