Sounds like your on the right track with the squirters for the bog. You mentioned a rich condition which may be corrected with smaller jets. That can help. Check your plugs to get an amber color too.

Sorry about that, my reading/understanding error. GM calls them Radiator Retainer Pads. GM group number 1.270. Good luck on finding them.

I found a listing for you--GM Radiator Core Support Bushings. Go to Mike's Montes and in upper left corner scroll down to El Camino and go down scroll down to Body Mounts and Suspension Parts.
