I bought this car when I was 16 at the Charlotte Auto Fair and have been fixing it up with my dad ever since. We have mostly been focused on trying to make it usable, as it will probably be the car I take to college.
1974 Chevrolet El Camino (Primer)
Modifications
Drivetrain
New crate 350 (that came ready-to-run, including an Edelbrock 600 4 bbl carb.) rated for about 325-330 hp, as well as a new radiator, new heater core, and some other various parts.
Interior
Replaced the a/c control panel and the vacuum control box, as well as some smaller things like lights and window cranks.
Exterior
New windshield, new exhaust pipes and mufflers, added windshield wipers, replaced the weatherstripping around the windows, etc.
Wheel and Tire
New brakes and tires.
