History
Bought this car this summer- late July 2021. Pretty rough shape, but it will get all the love I can afford.
Update 12/1/21: I have installed the 489hp 406 with the 400 turbohydromatic with the Ford 9 inch rear end- now I can burn my 255 tires 400'+ effortlessly (350 only did 50' burnouts). This car is a good time! Gotta get my Dakota digital gauges installed now.

Currently it's got a nice running early 70s 350 4 barrel will single exhaust and a 200 metric trans. Rear end seems to have some decent gears, maybe 3.08s or perhaps 3.23s- speedo is reading about 10mph too fast.....but I'm gonna change all that.
I got a 406sbc that dynoed at 489 hp I'm gonna install, along with a 400 turbo I just had freshened up. I just built a Ford 9 inch rear end with a 3.25:1 posi that I'm gonna put in, with some good boxed control arms. I'm also got some Dakota digital gauges to put in since the original tach and fuel gauge quit. Once I get the running gear upgraded, I'm gonna focus on the paint job and restoring the Royal Knight appearance package- I really like the looks of them black Royal Knights.
I rebuilt the front suspension already with big block springs(was gonna put in a 468, but it'll be easier/cheaper to retain the air conditioning with the sbc) and some gas shocks- it handles decent for an old gbody now.
It has been an enjoyable car to work on so far, and fun to drive.
