Nice! I always go back and forth on the complete frame off resto for my 86, but over the years I've been doing bits and pieces. I can't make up my mind to keep it all original, or just a slight change on the original look. Tranny & engine are stock with 240,000 mile which is not bad for a 80's GM Engine.
Of course my chrome on my Truck is in poor shape, and it just cost so much to rechrome, and buying it from OPGI, plus the oversize shipping charge they charge you is about $200, making the front and rear bumpers about a grand. Just don't have that kind of money free with 3 kids in college. So I'm thinking about have the bumpers Powdercoated the bottom half of my truck color, silver.
Everything else would stay the same on the truck. Not sure what I'm going to do when the 305 finally gives out. Thinking about replacing it with a twin turbo V6, that you sometimes see in these
S 10 builds.
Anyhow, good looking truck you have there. Bet you get a lot of, I haven't seen one of those in years comments. : ) Me Too.
Have a good one, be safe and healthy!

Thank-you Jonesie for the compliment, the bumpers on the Elc are not perfect there are fine scratches in a couple spots on the front but not too concerned about that.I know what you mean about spending $$$ wisely,I figure I"ll do what I can that doesn't cost anything or very minor spending since life is throwing us a huge curve right now.I like your idea on the powdercoating since that stuff seems indistructable though I have not used it before.Everyone has their own opinion about powerplants, mine, for me would be likely a 350 crate but would really like a 383,and of course that's today tomorrow could be something else.lol Your car is in way better shape than mine was in when I started fixin 'er up,so I say enjoy her while you work on her.
