I originally wanted the car but could not afford it at the time. So my father bought the car used in 1981 with about 2000 miles on it, replacing his 1974.And at the time my brother also was driving a 1978 SS. Fortunately and at the same time unfortunately Betsy became mine when my father passed away in 1983.In August of 2013 I will have had Betsy for 30 years! It was my daily driver for most of its life.In the past ten years or so Betsy has found a comfortable spot in the garage where she waits to go out on her Sunday joy rides.
