El Camino Custom
Bought from the 1st owner's son in 1976 - pretty rough looking. It was orange with silver below the stainless trim and used as a hauler for an offroad motorcycle. I dropped in a 250 sixbanger (headers, Clifford parts, 4 barrel and lots of go fast stuff) with a Super T10 and a posi rear end. Ran it like that for 14 years. It has been on dollies for over 10 years. The only thing original is the body, chassis and some glass. Now close to being road worthy.

I removed lots of trim pieces. Put the back up lights in the bumper - like a '68. Painted it Sable - black with a light gold metalflake. Used gallons of Eastwood rust proofing and paint products. Frame mounts, disc brakes and lines, power steering, bumpers and etc. all new.
