History
As a kid growing up I was always in awe, when my cousin from Galesburg Michigan, came to Windsor Ontario, driving his El Camino's (he owned several over the years).
As an adult I was more into motorcycles and for the past 10 years, due to a deteriorating back condition, I rode a Trike (Triumph ROCKET with a MotorTrike conversion). 2300cc's, 140hp and a sexy, extraterrestrial custom paint job, to honour the ROCKET. This year my back pain prevented me from enjoying even short cruises around town.
One recent evening my sweetheart and I were watching traffic from our front porch and we always admire the classics cruising by. I joked that we may need to switch to an old classic. My girl asked what would I like to own and I said right away, maybe an El Camino, like my cousin Ron and Lou (both deceased) had, or a Cadillac Allante' Convertible, I kinda like those too.
Wouldn't you know it, about 2 weeks later, out on a county road, we stumbled across a farm yard sales lot, with a camino out in the grass. I drove right by and didn't say
