I had a '79 firebird that I had worked on for a while and met a guy who wanted it. He said he had an '86 El Camino that he would be willing to trade straight up. I had an '84 in the early '90's and always regretted selling it so I went with the deal. I'm looking forward to getting it back in presentable condition to do some summer cruisin'.

original 305. Although modified with an edelbrock 650 carb and a lot of the original engine components stipped off or disconnected (to my dismay). I'll either pull it and replace it or try to get it back to where it should be.
Interior
PO changed the interior to camaro buckets with a B & M z-gate shifter. I have the original 60/40 velour bench that I want to re-install. I like originality plus my wife and I want a cozy drive-in cruiser.
