History
Work in progress. Bought it back in 2013 and slowly been working on it. Didn't realize the extent of work needed but it is slowly coming together.
1969 Chevrolet El Camino (Multi)

Modifications

Drivetrain
The car has a 6.0 litre LS fitted into it using energy suspension conversion mounts and holley conversion oil pan. It will remain fuel injected and possibly turbocharged well into the future. The transmission is a truck 4l80e rebuilt with a stage 2 trans-go kit.
Interior
Original interior was olive green with a split bench. Overall ok shape but needs some door panels to be complete. Need to find a 1968/69 dash panel in order to start the interior reassembly.
Exterior
Original car body was beyond repair. Rotten everywhere you can imagine so I sourced a 1972 body in very good shape, all that is needed is some quarters.
Audio
Originally the car had a running, but tired l48 350 that burnt more oil then gas. The trans was a surprisingly good th350 which is now in my buddy's 71 chevelle since he grenades his. Rear end is a solid 3.31 12 bolt posi which I don't need to touch.
After tearing down the engine and realizing how worn it was, I debated what to replace it with. With a new truck in the driveway and my old 1999 3/4 ton silverado slated for the boneyard, I found my engine and trans.
Suspension
Stock suspension right now, all new polyurethane bushings installed. Converted the 4 wheel drums to 4 wheel discs using a full kit from Right stuff detailing.
Wheel and Tire
Still to be determined. Right now corvette rallye and ion 171s.
