Modifications

Drivetrain
In late May '15 I made a trip to Pensacola and the motor drank about a quart of oil every 100 miles. I decided to go ahead and put a GM crate 350 in it. From Jegs the new motor was only $1250 to the door. Weiend intake, Quadrajet another $450, and at least another grand on incidentals. I had to wait until August to put on the headers and dual exhaust.
Audio
Within days of purchase the 350 transmission went out so I had that rebuilt, doing the installation myself. At that time I went ahead and changed the u-joints.
Wheel and Tire
I liked the wheels they had on it, so no changes there. Added some Cooper Cobras, 255-60R-15 all around. I prefer the flatter stance.

Late spring 2016 I replaced calipers, pads and rotors. They weren't releasing, so I changed brake soft lines too--turned out I had '76 style, not '75, so that made it a challenge. Anyway, it was bad reman calipers, traded them for a new set, no problems.
