History
Bought from an old country farm man about 65 miles down the road. Was in the back field of a farm lonely and dirty. Had seemed to be kept in a very moderate condition for its location. He said it was cranked and ran at least twice a month with no problems other than an oil leak. Body was...ummm, ok...had a few surface rust spots, one BIG rusted out spot before the rear passenger wheel and it wore a less than desirable camper shell on the back. He put in the battery, turned the key and it fired right up. I wasn't looking for a show camino. Just one that ran, drove, and had potential. Nonetheless, a test drive and 2 old timer stories later, I owned my very own "Elky".
