PS, PB, PW CC, A/C, PL, 350/automatic
I bought this one on 7/14 (a few days ago) from an elderly man who was a car nut but was in the beginning stages of Alzheimers. He had owned it for about 10 years. He took good care of it, but for the last few years it had been neglected and not driven.
1982 Chevy El Camino (White)
The original 305 was replaced with a fresh Mr. Goodwrench 350 about 8000 miles ago. It won't pass CA smog. The code came up 21, throttle position sensor, so since the Quadrajet looks funky, I ordered a brand new carb. I'm hoping that will clear the problem.
Tan/brown interior. New seat upholstery, new headliner, visors, carpets. 60/40 seat. Tinted glass.
Recent new clear-coat white paint job. Looks like new! There's an air dam accessory under the front bumper. Not sure if I feel it makes the car look better or not . . .
I don't know any history of the transmission, but the fluid is clean and it shifts perfectly. Standard (non-posi) differential.
All stock. Ball joints seem a bit tired, but everything else is goo.
Wheel and Tire
New 16 x 8 Chevy S-10 alloys with new Eagle GT 215 60 x 16 tires all around. The design of the wheel works very well with the lines of the El Camino (IMHO).
