History
2nd owner. My Uncle factory ordered it on 28 Feb 1987. I told him the day he brought it home that if he ever decided to sell it, to call me first. I never really though he'd ever sell it. Took him 28 years.

Now, I have plenty of plans for Elsie, just gotta find money and time. :-)

Modifications

Drivetrain
Focused on getting it to run reliably. Replaced all the computer sensors. Finally gave up and removed at the CC crap. Added a Mountain Man Q-Jet, GM HEI, and an MSD6A which replaced the HEI internals. Also added MSD 8.5mm wires.

Compression test results were great, vacuum is strong and steady.
Interior
Added CHMSL at top of rear window.
Kenwood radio salvaged from my old C-1500 pickup.
Exterior
Resealed the bed (it was leaking into the passenger compartment)
Suspension
Replaced factory body bushings with urethane.
Added a trailer hitch to firm up the back end of the chassis.
Wheel and Tire
16x8 S10 Xtreme wheels
