Bought the car new in '93, owned it ever since. Every possible bolt on mod has been done to it. In 2008, the car had 188,000 miles on it and the #8 exhaust valve had too much carbon to close. Pulled the heads for rework and then decided to pull the motor. Fresh rebuild 0.030" over, stock pistons, crank, rods. Installed a Comp XFI 268 cam. Finally found someone to tune the ECU. Guessing I am in the 420 hp and torque range. Without the tune, the car made 384 hp and 386 torque on a chassis dyno with the stock tune.
