My older brother got it for his first vehicle back in the early 90's. My dad bought it for him because he had always like el caminos, and he was born in 78.
My older brother went into the military in 2002 and left the el camino at my fathers house. He got married and had kids so there was no need for the el camino, and it sat for 13 years. I finally got him to trade it to me after years of begging. So I had it towed to my house and i began working on it 2 weeks ago. It had sat for 13 years and did not run or drive. Nothing worked on it the windows,doors, and tail gate where all stuck shut. I went and got the needed parts do bring her back to life :). and have been working on it for the past 2 weeks on and off.
