The car was my younger brother Gordon's, He lived in Gulfport, FL. He unfortunately passed away of cancer in 1996. I acquired the car at that time, drove it home to Pepperell, and used it for 5-6 years. The restoration started back in October of 2004. It was a frame off, complete restoration. It was finished in Feb. of 2015.
1986 GMC Caballero (Black)
350 CU IN, 430 HP crate motor which is clone of the ZZ430 that chevy built in the late 90's
Black and grey, bucket seats, and has all the SS red striping on dash panels and console. Custom Autometer gage set in original enclosure.
Changed color from white to black and applied the two tone trim package.
700R4 tranmission, backed up with a Currie rear end w/Ford 9" center section running 3.70:1 gears
