This was the car I learned to drive in and I have had it for 8 years. My dad left it to me after he died and I have been reluctant to change anything on. The car runs great and I have never had any issues other than carburetor adjustment here and there. It's my daily driver and the best MPG I have gotten is 22 mpg. no idea how.
1987 Chevy El Camino (Black)
Original 305 block. hereafter is just observation and guess work: double hump bowtie heads, edelbrock dual plane intake and 600cfm 4 barrel. true dual magnaflow exhaust with headers. I'm pretty sure the cam is original and its an A/C car with a locked up A/C compressor. ( go figure )
All original; even the 2 front tweeter speakers.
It is black with a bunch of rust starting to show thru, especially around rear quarters. The front end had been wrecked and never fully straightened out. Both mirrors have been knocked off when going backwards. just got too close.
pretty sure it has a 400TH tranny. original rear end, original, original, original
... needs to be replaced
Wheel and Tire
old rally wheels. nothing special
