Bought in Hart Texas, been stored in a barn many years, not sure how many. Hoped to tune it up and drive it, but not going to go that way, fuel system upgrade done, new wiring harness to be done, interior smelled of mice and rats so that's going to be redone, 4 speed to replace 3 speed auto... who knows what else I'll find I need to do.
1969 Chevrolet El Camino (Red)
under the hood, mild 350, suposedly has a cam, edelbrock performer manifold and carb, pretty much stock.
mice infested and already gone! haven't begun to replace yet
been repainted at some point, paint looks decent, plan to leave it alone and drive it.
installing a 700r4 in place of TH 350, other than that plan is to leave drivetrain alone, possible posi or limited slip in the future, we shall see.
factory suspension at the moment, worn out air shocks with broken hoses, no pics of this junk, not sure how or what will get upadated, but rest assured it will. for sure 4 wheel disc brakes in the future, what shock/suspension I'm not sure, but I think it'll change, maybe coilovers... don't know enough on this topic to decide yet, but I want it to handle WELL
Wheel and Tire
alluminum alloy wheels, these will stay, they are what I had (or similar anyway) on my fist car a '65 el camino.
