History
My wife & I purchased the original car from her grand mothers estate in 2007. As she was the original owner, gramma had a ton of memories with my wife driving all over the San Francisco bay area chasing parts for their radiator shop in Napa.
With more than 300,000 miles on her, the old 305 was tired & puking oil out the right bank. As we disassembled the car, the intention was to return her to her original glory. However, after removing the engine & front clip, a greater, more glorious vision began to appear. When asked how she would feel about "hot rodding" grammas old El Camino, my wife gleefully grinned from ear to ear and asked, "well? what did you have in mind?" The finished product now manifests what we had envisioned that day. After 10 long years, we are nearing completion & are looking forward to making a whole new set of memories in grammas old El Camino.
