purchased on June 16, 2016 - it RUNS !!!
this 1981 Royal Knight needs to be reclaimed, some autobody repair, fresh paint, re-decaled, then registered and insured. It came with the original build sheet verifying VIN and Royal Knight package. There are lots of original and spare parts but the previous owner was personally customizing it (that ends now).
The VIN and the build sheet tell me that it was manufactured in Fremont, California, shipped to a GM dealership in Edmonton Alberta for original sale.
Past 25 yrs with previous ouner. What I do know is that the "5.0 L" rebuilt engine is original (is was not given the 305 cid description), bucket seats, automatic, 65,195 kms. This will take some time - hope to have it running in the coming months, and restored to former glory in the next couple of years. Should be fun finding the diamond back.
