History
I bought this off a guy last week. The owned it for 2 yrs and made some upgrades to it. He said it just sat around and he would rather work on his real baby, a early 70's T-Bird of a baby poop color. To each their own I guess. His loss is my gain. It's got air shocks in the back and lowered springs, drop spindles in the front. An electric fan, some Camaro Z28 rims from the mid 90's. He rebuilt the engine w/o taking the motor out. Sounds like more work than taking it out.
I asked what he did on it and he said pistons and rings. It's got some other gm heads on it. I haven't I'd them yet. A Torker manifold and edlebrock carb and HEI dist. Overall a good start.
My plan is to add shorty headers, dual hump crossmember, dual exhaust, replace the rusted quarter panels and door skins. Bed line the bed, and add a posi. New rims and tires. Replace the I/P idiot lights with gauges and coat the car in dark primer gray. Way down the road spray it gunmetal gray. So that's it. Slowly (very slowly) but surely I will get there
