Default 1965 A/C wiring question

1965 factory A/C. Wiring diagram has a B/OR from firewall plug to blower motor. Was this wire just clipped at factory when vehicle had A/C? Two different diagrams for the A/C, Two different types? Wiring at that point is pretty bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the factory assembly manuals and wire diagrams. Without A/C the Black/orange stripe (from the firewall plug) goes to the blower. With A/C it is a purple wire. They do show a green coming from the passenger side as clipped when it has A/C. Right now only low/medium speed, have a new relay coming. I can't just "make it work", i need it back to original. At this time i have to assume that the Black/orange stripe is clipped also, just that the assembly manual doesn't indicate that.
