They are both restoration projects or parts cars.
I hope this helps somebody. I have no association with the auction company or the auction...
For that last couple years My dad and I have had a couple 69 El Camino's under tarps wondering what to do with them. You see, they're pretty much basket cases. Rusted out floors, quarters, etc and there both non-SS's. We've tried selling one, but she kept followed me home. About 2 years ago...
Need a repairable drivers side door for my 69 El. Only need shell, will consider complete door. Prefer within states of MN, SD, MT, ND. Further out if willing to meet somewhere in the middle. Have some stock parts to trade or just pay ca$h.
I'm currently looking for my second 3rd generation El Camino to do a full custom build on. Basically, I'm going for a pro touring/road trip style build. (aluminum LS motor, t56 trans, performance mods, suspension mods, creature comforts, etc)
I'm wondering, what is the absolute biggest tire...
I am rebuilding my 69 and I just installed my dashboard. All the components are working correctly except my gas gauge. When the key is out and the car is off the gas gauge is on full, then when I turn the car on the needle goes past full...any ideas why this is happening and how to fix it?
