262 4.3l

Hello, I'm stumped! Can't figure out what this part is. It will leak antifreeze occasionally and is hooked up to a vacuum line. It's on the hose that goes from the heater core to the intake on a 262 4.3L. See pictures below. Thanks!! Top Underneath Thanks in advance.
