    JUst had electric fuel pump external to the tank replaced on my 64 with 350 crate x 4 speed. 1st gear, ok, 2nd gear ok, 3rd gear - put foot into it, and feels like just ran out of gas - back off and seems to catch up -- i.e. seems to me the new fuel pump is not providing enough gas ---- checked...
